The tabernacle symbolized the presence of God among his people

Did you know? That the tabernacle symbolized the presence of God among his people. It was the meeting place between man and God; the people of God had to be Holy as his God was. It was the mobile sanctuary which God ordered Moses to build on the Sinai, he accompanied God's people to the promised land. Apart from the fence, there was the forecourt, the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. In the square, there was the altar of sacrifices and the bronze tank. In the holy place, there was the table of showbread, the golden candlestick and the altar of perfumes and in the very holy place, there was only the ark of the covenant. The holy place was separated from the very holy place by a veil. The word "Tabernacle" means "a tent", that is to say "a habitation", and it also corresponds to the word "Temple" which is often designated in the New Testament as "the habitation of the Holy Spirit". The Tabernacle was the figure or the shadow of things to come as the Apostle Paul tells us. C / You are the temple of the Holy Spirit, God calls you to the Sanctification to live a good communion with your God. Ex 25 to 27; 35 to 40, Heb 8: 5; 10: 1.
