The Table of Bread Proposals was on the right at the entrance to the Holy Place and opposite the Candlestick

Did you know? That the Table of Bread Proposals was on the right at the entrance to the Holy Place and opposite the Candlestick. It was a table plated with pure gold and on this table were placed twelve unleavened breads in two piles, with incense at the top of each pile. Only the priests could eat this bread, it was holy and it was renewed every seventh day or Sabbath. These 12 loaves represented the 12 tribes of Israel; they reminded us that it is the Lord who provides the necessary bread. He reminds us of the perfect humanity (the flower of flour) of Christ who was crushed by the trial of suffering, and whose submission rose like pure incense before the Father. Jesus himself declared: "I am the bread of life; he who comes to me will never be hungry, and he who believes in me will never never thirsty. " C / Let us feed on the Lord, on his Word, his spiritual food, as we like to eat physical food. Ex 25: 23-30; 37: 10-16; Lev 24: 5-7; John 6:35.
